Opening RECAP: CYCLES / 10 Years of Stay Gallery
Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday, October 22, 2022 to celebrate Stay Gallery’s 10th Anniversary and the opening reception of CYCLES, a group exhibition featuring new and recent works by 25 local and emerging artists. Words can’t express how grateful, humbled, and energized we are after experiencing so much love and support from our community.
Thank you to all of the artists that made the exhibition possible and dedicated their time and creative effort to share their artwork and stories with the community. Thank you to Garduno’s Taco King, Alchemy Craft, and Voodoo Ranger for providing food and drinks. Thank you to Furcast for ending the night with an incredible live music performance and to Enamour Records for lighting and sound production.
And lastly, a big thank you to LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn for presenting us with a certificate and $10,000 grant award for our ten years of service to the community, and to Downey Mayor Blanca Pacheco and our board for their support and encouragement. These funds will allow us to continue providing free and low-cost arts programming for local artists, youth and families in the Southeast LA & Gateway Cities region.
CYCLES is currently on view through Friday, December 9, 2022. You can visit the exhibition during our regular hours: Wednesday – Friday, 12 – 6pm & Saturdays, 10am – 2pm. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
